Lammer Enterprises History

 

Jeff Szumilas (founder and current owner) and Ryan Szumilas (founder) started this company over 10 years ago. Jeff Szumilas studied Business and Psychology at SAIT and Mount Royal University and Ryan worked in many different trades related to construction. Jeff and Ryan thought that they could make some extra income on the side while having a flexible schedule to do the other things. Having this business allowed the flexibility of having more time for family, friends, school and other important things. Jeff and Ryan saw the importance of time and doing the things we loved and wanted to make life more enjoyable rather than never having time to do anything. We also saw that our customers need more time for these things to and wanted to provide these services for people so that they can enjoy life more. Here is a brief history of Lammer Enterprises.

 

We started just with mowing lawns. We bought a used mower and a trimmer from Kijiji for around $150 and had a cheap 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and went door to door getting customers and we still have a lot of those customers today. After the first couple of years we started getting into spring cleanup, power raking, mowing, and snow removal and eventually landscaping.

Over the years we gained more equipment and different services we provide and expanded to different parts of the city.

In 2018 Ryan decided to pursue some other things and has his own company called Blessed Curbs that he just started up in 2021. Check out his website at www.Blessedcurbs.com.
